2nd Circuit Affirms Ruling in dispute Over Digitized BooksA major victory for the visually impaired and physically disabled

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision upheld a New York federal Judge’s October 2012 ruling in favor of the National Federation of the Blind in a copyright infringement case the Authors Guild, Inc. had brought against university libraries planning to digitize published works in their collections in Authors Guild, Inc. v.
