Profile

Alli Harper joined Brown, Goldstein & Levy in November 2008. Her practice involves civil rights, personal injury, premises liability, contract, tort, family law, constitutional issues, and other civil litigation and she is admitted in both Maryland and Washington, DC.

In 2009, she was selected to sit on the Board of Directors of ACLU of Maryland.

Prior to joining the firm, Alli clerked for the Honorable James S. Gwin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and then led the Cleveland NAACP's early voting mobilization for the 2008 election.

During law school, Alli represented low-income tenants in landlord-tenant court, gained civil rights experience with Relman & Associates, led the Georgetown Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Outlaw group's political agenda, and worked to expand health insurance and vocational training in Ghana. She received the John F. Kennedy Labor Law Award for 2006-2007.

Before law school, Alli led a statewide parent grassroots organizing initiative to protect and expand early childhood development opportunities for low-income families in California. She served as the Stowe-Harvard fellow at the Stowe School in 2001-2002.
